Dartmoor through collage

Created by Devon artist Glen Middleham, every artwork has been carefully hand-collaged using vintage maps, historical imagery, local facts and other found elements. Textured layers are combined with hand-finished watercolours to create distinctive contemporary interpretations of the Dartmoor landscape.

Glen’s work brings together the history, stories and visual character of Dartmoor with a contemporary collage style, creating artworks that are both rooted in the landscape and distinctly modern.

Each month features a different original collage, making Dartmoor in Collage 2027 both a practical wall calendar and a celebration of Dartmoor in art.
